MED-EL is known for innovative medical devices for decades. We, the Business Unit STIWELL® Neurorehabilitation have focused on functional electrical stimulation. The well-known STIWELL® med4 has been replaced by our new, innovative STIWELL® PROFES, which sets new standards in the field of (F)ES.

With the help of FES, different muscle groups can be activated simultaneously or consecutively, which means that complex movement patterns can be retrained. The goal is to support motor learning and improve the functionality and level of activity in the process.
